Our virtual retreats are online spaces of quiet, reflection, and transformation—designed especially for Highly Sensitive People (HSPs) and seekers ready to turn inward.
Using The Work of Byron Katie, each session invites you to gently question stressful thoughts and discover new clarity. You don’t need to travel or prepare anything special—just bring your open mind, your honest heart, and whatever is alive in you right now.
In each retreat, you’ll experience:
Guided Inquiry Sessions to explore your inner landscape
Supportive Community of like-hearted participants
Freedom to Drop In and Out — come to one session or stay all weekend
Accessible from Anywhere — all you need is a quiet space and an internet connection

MEEt Your Guide: TODD SMITH
My greatest passion is living a life of love and fearlessness — meeting every situation with an open heart. This calling has shaped my life and is at the heart of everything I share.
I founded True Inner Freedom as a supportive community for Highly Sensitive People seeking deeper peace and balance. I’ve practiced The Work of Byron Katie almost daily since 2007. This practice continues to reveal who I am without stress.
During the retreat, I’ll guide sessions during daytime and afternoon hours (Pacific Time), while trusted community members — experienced in The Work — will lead nighttime sessions. Together, we create a welcoming space for transformation.
I look forward to walking this path with you.
What happens if fewer than 20 people sign up?
We need a minimum of 20 participants to hold each retreat. If we don’t reach that number, your registration will automatically roll over to the next scheduled retreat. No stress — we’ll keep you informed every step of the way.
Do I need experience with The Work of Byron Katie?
No experience needed. Whether you’re new or seasoned, you’ll receive guidance, support, and plenty of opportunities to learn by doing.
Do I have to attend every session?
Not at all. You can attend as many or as few sessions as you like. Some join just one session. Others stay all weekend. This is your retreat, your pace.
How are sessions structured?
Each 2-hour session includes a blend of group inquiry, optional partner work in breakout rooms, and quiet reflection. You’ll always have the choice to participate fully or simply listen and observe.
What time zones are the sessions in?
All times are listed in Pacific Time (PT). We offer sessions around the clock to make it easy for participants from all over the world to join in.
Who leads the sessions?
I (Todd) guide the sessions during daytime and afternoon hours. In the evening and overnight, experienced members of our community hold space with warmth, skill, and care.
Can I just listen without sharing?
Yes. There’s never pressure to speak or participate actively. Listening alone can be profoundly transformative.
What’s the cost? Are scholarships available?
The 2-day retreat is $300. We offer scholarships to keep the experience accessible — just reach out for an application and return it by the Thursday before the retreat.
Is there a referral program?
Yes, for anyone who is not already on my mailing list who mentions you as referring them, I’ll give you a $50 referral fee. They must be full-paying participants. Note, this retreat is for HSPs only, so not everyone will be accepted.
Set aside the weekend. Close the tabs in your mind. Come home to yourself.
This is your chance to move through what’s been weighing you down — in a warm, non-judgmental space where healing happens one question at a time.
We need a minimum of 20 participants to hold the Summer Virtual Retreat (July 18–20, 2025). If we don’t reach that number, your name will be held for the Autumn Retreat (October 17–19, 2025).
If this retreat speaks to you, add your name to the waitlist today.
Your presence matters. You might be the person who helps make this retreat possible.
We can’t wait to share a weekend of presence, clarity, and transformation with you.
